TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – Block 2

This course is suitable for professionals, tradespeople and others who are training or are required to train in the workplace.
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is recognised Australia wide and is the qualification that complies with the standards set out by the National Standards and Skills Council. This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification.
Workshops
Workshops are an alternative to the flexible learning program and provide interactive and focused sessions on how to apply training and assessment knowledge to practical situations. There are three x 2-day blocks, conducted approximately every 8 -10 weeks over a twelve month period.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
RPL is available for each Unit of Competency, and is based on relevant workplace experience, formal training, and/or other expertise. To apply for RPL, please contact our office on 1800 891 662 to discuss your RPL options.
Course Outline
The course workshops address the Units of Competency below as identified in the national Business Services training package. All ten units must be successfully completed to attain the qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

- TAEDEL404A Mentor in the workplace
Assessment Methods
Currently in the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, students undertake assignments (enhanced by facilitator contact) and project work to complete the course.
